By hand,
move the TB where the cable connects and see if you fill the resistance.

By hand,
move the gas peddle and see if you fill the resistance.

You said it doesn't happen all the time so you may have to do this for a day or two to see if it is an issue with the TB or the cable.

Could just be a BIG foot rubbin' the side of the floor board I have that problem or a floor mat

Ha, yeah, I've gotten my share of carpet stuck under pedals in the past.

I have moved the pedal and throttle by hand, and when the engine is running it feels fine. Sometimes when the engine is running if feels (by hand) that the throttle is the problem are - but I'm not positive.

I'm going to try to try cleaning the TB this weekend and see if things clear up. Hope that will fix it.

Yesterday I took the cover off the throttle – it didn’t look super dirty, but I noticed it wasn’t shiny clean and there were some small amount of black residue on the edge of the butterfly valve. I got out the Sea Foam and a clean white rag and cleaned up as much as I could see/reach front/back until the rag was wiping clean. I then got my Sea Foam Spray and squirted it into the two openings/rods that the butterfly valve pivots on - cleaned/repeated a few times.

Buttoned everything back up and fired it up – pedal felt good so I drove it around and it felt good. Tried again today and still feels good. I’ll give it a good drive tomorrow and hopefully it will stay good.

I think I'd add going back in and spraying the pivots with a PTFE spray lubricant - the one I've been using recently is the Liquid Wrench brand one which seems to work well for things for me.

Drove it all day - no issues, so I guess the throttle plate just needed some cleaning. Thanks for all the help and suggestions!

I forgot to mention what happened with the accelerator, it stuck once while I was driving and I ended up being able to tap it a few times and it broke lose, the second time it stuck and I was accelerating pretty hard and I pushed on it and tapped it a few times and it just wouldn’t break loose. I ended up throwing it in neutral and shutting it off while manhandling it to the side of the road lol
