Trans problems

Changed the trans fluid and filter today, replaced filter, new fluid,gasket, cleaned pan and magnet, sealed up new fluid (4 qts) truck will not **** into any gear now. linkage is hooked up. HELP

were there any issue with the trans prior to changing fluid? Is the filter firmly in place? Is the fluid showing on the dipstick? 4 quarts seems a little low to me (haven't done a 2nd gen in 15 years)

Did you make sure the filter seated correctly? I know the 545RFE's (behind the 4.7) will not run at all if the filter does not get seated right. I think there was even a TSB issued for it.
