What calipers do you recommend?

You're damn right.

Rolling down my drive way in my grand Prix which didn't have a working parking brake. I got scared I'll tell ya.

Never tried that is it worth it?


Seen the caliper rebuild kits just never tried to do it


I learned after every brake job start the car pump the brakes and make sure they are pumped up good and work before you go.


Oh and check the fluid also it may drop low after you get the pads pushed to the rotors.

I just looked up some prices and it might actually be worth it on a Dakota. The front calipers are around 35 bucks and the rebuild kit (boot and seal, no piston) is about 5 bucks. But the Chevy calipers I'm using on the front of my Dakota are only 15 bucks each, so it's definitely NOT worthwhile to rebuild those, IMO.
