Funny this is posted today.

I just got a set of AC Delco's today st lunch for my truck. I've got one that's sticking quite bad.

Hopefully they will treat me nice!

not pads... I meant calipers. My piston is cracked and I need to replace on so I will just replace the set. All I can find are Cardone and Centric and I have zero experience with either.

I put Cardones on my truck 3 or 4 years ago, they are still working fine today. I also had a cracked piston in one of my OE calipers. It was my own fault though from being in a hurry and pushing the piston back with Channellocks instead of a C-clamp. You can use an online discount code and get new calipers for a good price at Advance.

Jimmy, you can use either. Just use one of the old brake pads and place it over the piston before compressing. That also helps to keep it level. If the piston leans, it can damage the seal or introduce air.

I've had my bonehead moments while doing brakes. Like forgetting and pushing the brake pedal with the calipers hanging. You know what that does.

I'm not really sure there's one brand of remanufactured calipers that stands out above the rest. My current ones are from Auto Zone (Duralast?), but I've also used Raybestos, AC-Delco, and Bendix calipers with no issues.
