I ran hid's in my dakota for about 4 years and never had a problem. Run a relay harness and you dont have to pull power through your existing switch and wiring. I ran 55watt in my headlights and 35 watt in my fogs.

Here are the LED fogs I got off Amazon. I'm sure they will look good once I get around to installing them. Looks like they'll be a bitch to install though. The instructions are so bad, I can toss them and figure it all out myself. These do not tie into the headlight switch, you have to run a separate switch (black wire next to relay) thru the firewall and under the dash.
