Seems like a decent start... so no 408,410 or any other variation of a stroked 360. Staying NA or future plans for boost or juice?

I like the idea of a 408 or 410, but i want to see what all i can do with the stock block. I plan on renting some extra space to store an engine stand and start collecting parts for a stroked build. If i can get my hands on a r3 block ill be in good hands as then ill try to build a 426, we will see.

As for right now the stock compression is around 9.0-9.5:1 so maybe a LITTLE bit of boost, like 6-8psi, but it i cant to get anymore out of this 360, im going to have to get new pistons or use some thick *** gaskets to get my compression down to the 8s so i can really get some high psi numbers.

But a blower is in the future, just not right now, N/A for the time being.

Have you rebuilt the motor for valve clearance? I believe .544 is MAX lift on a stock engine before interfrence occurs.

Factory pistons have valve release, lift and DURATION play a roll. the .544 myth is not true, dur. of the valve staying open and overlapping is the problem, or valve float...

Ill be fine, but i am going to take measurements, piston TDC, Valve fully open, and gasket thickness and i should be able to find out what my clearance is.

But like i said the stock pistons have the half moon valve release safety feature.
