Sticky Situation
I realize this question isn't specific to the Dodge Dakota...still....
Any recommendations for removing the double-sticky tape used to adhere dorr-mounted vent shades?
So far I've tried GooGone, Isopropyl Alcohol (40%) and nail polish remover.
Thoughts?
Thanks.

Use a eraser wheel on a drill it will come right off!

Spend the 5-10.00 for a good eraser wheel. It will be easier in the end and much faster.

This. And it won't damage your paint (unlike some home-brew methods).

Well it will if you hold it there for too long

But you pretty much have to do it on purpose.

Recommendation heeded; did a really good job. There are still the thin lines where the double-sticky ended, but still; a huge improvement. Thanks!
