4 hole injector upgrade?
Anyone done the bosch 4 hole injector swap? I have one injector that needs replaced. It's $40 for a single (cheap) replacement here in town, but for $125 I can get a set of 8 Bosch 0280155849 injectors http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-Jeep-Upgrade-4-7L-Flow-Matched-24-lb-Ford-Bosch-Fuel-Injectors-0280155849-/161448656561?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item259716feb1&vxp=mtr
I've heard stories of picking up a MPG or so and gaining a little bit of performance with the 4 hole injector upgrade and better atomization. Anyone have any experience with this? And are these the right injectors to be looking at?
Thanks!

I have heard of guys going to 4 hole injectors and they do like them but they aren't "miracle" parts. The guys who race their trucks said it doesn't do much if anything for power but it makes the engine feel like runs healthier.
I personally replaced all 8 of mine with bosch 2 hole injectors, they are cut/built better. I didn't see much on the mpg front but I'll agree with things like it seems the engine runs healthier. Its weird it doesn't seem to have an impact execpt like an x-factor, it could be placebo for all I know, but I honestly think something changed.
As for choosing the proper injectors I'll stress this but make sure you get the right flow rate. My Dakota is a 24 lbs. injectors but I know there are other 4.7L that have 22 lbs injectors.

Nick from Airram helped me out and he had a specific injector guy who he used. But if you're really concerned walk into your local dodge service center w/ your VIN. You can normally ask the desk guys for the info.
These are listed as a direct swap to upgrade the 4.7 in my truck. I was more concerned with whether or not they're actually worth the money spent. I'm not looking to gain tons of horsepower or 5 MPG or anything like that. But I'll have to take the fuel rail off anyway and if I can get an extra MPG or so I'd be thrilled.
If it's not going to be much different at all though I'll gladly just throw a new stock style injector in to replace the bad one and let it be.
