cold truck starts just fine, after it warms up and you make a quick stop at a gas station, go to restart, it will start very rough, then dies, out, has hard time restarting, after about 5-10 tries she finally gets going very rough then evens out. Kinda sounds like it loading up on fuel. Any tips/pointers?

Welcome to the forum!

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it, you can rent/borrow one. When you shut it down watch the pressure.

You may have a leaky injector "flooding" a cylinder.

25? Something is wrong. It should be about 49.

Did you try your start, heat up, shutdown, restart cycle with the gauge on it? I'm curious as to what it is hot.

Sounds like you'll be changing a pump.

yes i drove it to advance to use the fuel pressure gauge, so it was hot when i got there.
Now in addition the fuel gauge is not reading. Wondering if it could be the fuel pump/regulator in the tank?

Fuel gauge not reading? First, try another. Then prepare to change the pump.

he meant fuel level gauge.

Sounds to me like a sloppy connection.
