wiper fluid reservior r&r

I had to change mine out because during the process of replacing my water pump I pulled too hard on the radiator shroud when separating it from the tank assembly. I cracked the plastic on the coolant reservoir side around the lower bolt that you bolt the fan shroud to. The bolt is press molded into the tank. Coolant came pouring out at a pretty good flow.
The coolant reservoir and washer fluid reservoir are all one assembly and it only has about 6 screws holding it in place so it is not real hard to R&R. Both the washer pump and low washer fluid sending unit snap in place, they have fat rubber grommets to seal them in the holes. If I remember it right the Dodge Boys wanted about $150.00 or $175.00 for a new tank. I bought a used tank assembly at the bone yard for $45.00. That was about 3 or 4 years ago, February 2011 I think and the used tank is still working fine today.
Some time after that I also had my low washer fluid sending unit go bad so I replaced it with the sending unit that came with the bone yard tank assembly. I put a drain pan under my truck to catch what fluid I could to keep from making too big of a mess on my garage floor, then just pulled out the sending unit and pushed the new-old one back in its place. Just be sure to orient it correctly so the pendulum end of it swings in the right direction or it won't read right either and your low washer fluid light will be on all the time like mine was.
