44RE Transmission help.
I was told that if you completely unplug the electronics for the transmission and put the PCM in limp mode, the transmission should behave as a 3 speed manual. That would isolate your electricals.
I think the Governor traducer still has to open up to allow fluid by for the shift.. even if you manually do it.. i dont think there is anything really manual about it... from what I've read about the RE's
But anyways it really only does it now and again.. so I'm not really sure. I think im going to go through that check list and see what happens.

And i just watched a video and relized i plugged up a weep hole that was supposed to leak if there is a leak .. whoops.. guess i need to find that and get the flex seal off.. ha ha..
Soon will be time to replace the seals.. Might adjust bands while we are at it..
idk yet.. might be more cost effective to have someone rebuild it since its just as much to pull the transfer case off and replace the seal i bet.
