Default Need part for seat

My 04 Dakota is missing the seat lever on passenger side.

It is attached to a plastic tube about 4 inches long that attached to a gear that operates the recliner lever. I went to use the lever to recline the seat forward to access the back seat and it kind of spun in my hand. I pulled the handle off and saw that the lever gears were stripped. I replaced the lever handle with the driver side lever and found that not only was the end attaching the lever stripped, but the other end that goes into the reclining mechanism was broke and pulled away, out and off from the seat.

My local dodge dealer can not find it in his parts catalog. Any idea where I can find this part?

Thanks.

Yep. Junk yard. Both of my seats on my 2001 Dakota SLT did the exact same thing. Thankfully you can still use the lever on the back of the seat on each side.

Will check the yards. Unfortunately there is no lever on the back of my seats, just the one on the door side.

Thanks.
