battery amps for dakota 2000

Default battery amps for dakota 2000

I looking for a new battery for my dodge Dakota slt v6 2000 truck, ? is, what would be the best CCA and CA AMPS for this truck I found one that has 800 cca's and 725 ca's, would that be ok. or would it be a little much?

The FSM lists two batteries:

CCA / Reserve / Amp Hours / Load Test Amperage

600 / 120 Minutes / 66 / 300
750 / 150 Minutes / 75 / 375

You'll be fine.

Go to any auto parts store, heck, even Walmart, they can tell you what's best. Me, I usually go fir the highest CCA's I can get in a battery that fits.

this. Our trays are rather big, could probably fit a 1000 CCA battery.
