Default Vac line question

Should there be a vac line here? I bought a truck with a bad cylinder head a while back and the PO had already disassembled a lot of it. I got the head replaced and got it all back together but I'm pretty sure there's not supposed to be a hole in the side of the throttle body. Where should this vac line be going?

It's on a 4.7 in a 2001 Dakota quad cab 4X4.

It is a rubber line that is part of the evap system. It goes to either the Leak detection pump, or the purge solenoid by the battery. I think you have to remove the battery to get to either one. Use fuel grade hose only. You must have a P0455 CEL right now.

Thanks. Under the battery is about the only place I didn't check.

I recall the hoses running under or down low by the battery but the actual pump and solenoid were to the right of the battery up against the fender. Memory is somewhat fuzzy, so don't hold me to it.

Actually, here is an old pic of mine.
