Default 02 sensor problems

Im having a problem with my 02 sensors. When I plugged in my scanner to see why the check engine light was on 5 codes popped up. P0152 p0132 p0051 p0031 p0136. I found out that my wire was burnt on one of the senors (driver side before the cat). I replaced it today and the codes are still popping up. If that sensor went bad would it of messed up any of the others? 2002 dodge dakota 4x4 v6

My driver side upstream was burned as well. I re-routed the wire to fix it. And it didn't clear my code either.

Welcome to the forum. What year/engine?

P0031 - 1/1 O2 sensor heater circuit low
P0051 - 2/1 O2 sensor heater circuit low
P0136 - 1/2 O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction
P0132 - 1/1 O2 sensor shorted to voltage
P0152 - 2/1 O2 sensor shorted to voltage

Did you check the fuses for the O2 sensors? It's in the PDC under the hood.

What brand O2 sensors did you use? Dakota's do not like Bosch - at all.

No, I didn't check the fuse. Ill check that tomorrow after work. Does anyone have a pic of where to look for the PDC if not ill look it up online. The truck is a 2002 v6 and the o2 sensor doesn't even show a brand. I know a guy that works at quest auto parts that got it for me. Probably their brand. I don't think anything is wrong with the new sensor because i replaced the cat about a month ago with the same brand sensors. everything was fine in tell the wire burnt but only because the guys at the muffler shop who welded on the cat left the wire sitting right on the exhaust.

The PDC, Primary Distribution Center, is that fuse box by the battery.

Usually.

Yes, the PDC is by the battery, under the hood.

lol o the fuse box didn't know that was what its called. Yep it was a 20 amp fuse. I could have kept the old senor and fixed the wires but I thought something happened to the plug after the wire burnt. Thanks for the help! Now just need to find why it's misfiring cyl 4 that I have been trying to fined for about a month ill post a new thread for that headache.
