One wire goes to the PCM the other to the evap thing under the battery. After doing some research I found that this is a problem with the new PCM's with the built in voltage regulators. My best guess the voltage regulator was letting to much by and causing a short. I found a site to convert back to external regulator and bypass the PCM to still charge the battery without cooking everything
