Default 01 Dakota will not start

I have a 2001 dakota 4.7 150k miles on it when i bought it i was told the chain tensioners where bad it would start for a second u could hear them making noise then die. So i replaced all of the tensioners put it back together tried to start it and it would not start at all. I am getting fuel i am getting pulses to the fuel injectors but no spark. So i replaced the cam and crank shaft sensors and the oil pressure sensor and still nothing it will not start What else could it be??? before i did the tensioners it would start and run for a second however it did have a multiple missfire code but i thought it might of been due to the tensioners too much slack in the chain but now i have No codes and it Will not Start.

Check the 5 volt supply to the cam and crank sensors. It'll be the orange wire on both. Sometimes it doesn't trip a code.

Did you use MOPAR cam/crank sensors? There has been a lot of problems with aftermarket.

The injector and coil feeds are on the same circuit.

OK so i have 5v to both sensors when key is on getting injector pulse and gas i can smell it to but STill no spark????? what else could do this? its just weird because before i did the tensioners it would run for a second but now nothing. when i did the tensioners i didn't remove any of the timing chains and i dont think they where loose enough to jump.

The valve timing might have jumped since the engine is really unknown to you. Still you should have a spark.

Are you checking multiple cylinders or just one?

At each plug, it doesn't matter which, the dark green with orange tracer wire (pin 2 on the connector) should be HOT all the time when cranking/running. The other terminal goes to the PCM which switches the ground for the spark.

Check for a good steady 12 volts.

That's the hard part in troubleshooting. The ASD relay will kill the power.
