Default 2004 Dakota Dash Replacement

When I purchased my Dakota the front (defroster) air vent was broken. The dash isn't cracked in anyway but the plastic across the vent is broken. it's mostly just an eyesore. I have tried to find a replacement but cant seem to find the exact part I need.

It'sd called a defroster grill, but darned if i can find one for a 2004 anywhere. 2005 and up is easy. You could call this place and see if they can get one/know where to get one...

Default I need one too.

I've looked and looked and all I get is "discontinued part "
You have a crack exactly in the same spot as mine . Back half of dash. My defroster grill is about 2/3 gone.
I'm thinking about hitting up my dealer and tell them to make Corp replace.
This is happening to 2nd Gen Dakota and Rams.

Yes, that crossed my mind too. Then I immediately thought about this part would be roasting in the sun and probably not quite worth the time $ and trouble.
Unless these Upullit places have already pulled dashes and keep them inside a building.
I'll give a call
