stiffening the Rear suspension on a Base Model

Would springs from a 4X4 work? I've hauled some serious loads in mine with no worries. You might wind up with a tail high truck when empty tho.

Did you check the link I provided they offer different load springs

By your Pic it doesn't look like a long bed that's 8 feet?

unless there are 3 different bed sizes..... its deff not a short bed

EDIT: I see there is a 6 1/2 foot bed, and 8 foot is rare but it exists

Yes, there are three bed sizes. Dunno how rare the 8' one is, that's about half the Gen1 ones in the boneyards around here.
