Default driverside Power window problem

Hi all, my drivers side power window has developed a problem going up and down, need to "pull" it up with my hands at the same time as using the switch, any ideas?

Welcome to the forum rusty.

What year and body style? 2 or 4 doors? They use different regulators. The 2 door is spring and arm, the 4 door is cable.

I hope you enjoy your Dodge as much as I have mine.

Pull the door panel and then disconnect the glass from the regulator. You can then narrow down what happening. It could be a couple of things. The regulator has a big coil spring on it that could just be getting weak. Replacing the regulator is the easiest fix. It's not a difficult job at all.

It could just be dirt accumulated in the glass channel too.

The motor/gear might be dry. Give it a shot of lube and see if it helps.

Thanks for that, will try and spray it with some silicone spray, if that doesnt work will take panel off and carry out your instructions.

Before you tear it apart remove your inner
Door panel. Hook up your switches and watch your
Window go up and down. The glass is most likely getting
hung up in the track. I get a lot of cars and trucks that do this
just a little grease in the track problem fixed.
