Exclamation 2004 Dodge Dakota 4.7 4x4

Hello
So I rebuilt the left side of my front suspension. New upper and lower control arms new inner and outer tie rods and new cv half shaft. My suspension on that side stays compressed in. It's giving me any travel. When I lower the floor jack it sinks into my wheel well. I've adjusted the torsion bar several times. I just tore it all down again and same results. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to the forum Iewood.

It has to be the torsion bar, that's your spring. Make sure it's keyed in.

I know torsion bars need to be installed the exact way they were removed or they don't work at all as they are twisted/set if in backwards they will sag down and get worse.


So your bar may be in backward
