has anyone done a 5.2 to 5.2 swap im looking at buying a motor with 150k on it but its from a 95 and has a egr valve my truck is a 97 with no egr valve anyone know if it will still work or will i have problems cant find much online

 

It should be almost a direct swap. You can make/buy a block off plate for the EGR.

Use the '97 sensors, etc.
