Hi fellas just needing some help.i have a 2000 dakota 3.9 and all of sudden my turn signals stopped working they dont come on at all not even in on the dash and the hazards dont work at all....i did some research and replaced all fuses and the flasher relay and still nothing and then i replace the multifunction switch still nothing. Any advice of getting them to work again would be appreciated.
Nope no break lights the one on top the cab works...i checked both the side and pdc but in the pdc i just swapped out fuses to check and see....was this the wrong way to check?
That the CHMSL is working tells me that fuse E in the PDC is good.
I'd start with the combination flasher.
Pin 3, black with white trace, should be 12 volts all the time.
Pin 2, black with red trace, should be 12 volts in run/acc.
Pin 5, black, is the ground.
I was check the headlight flash relay in the pdc i didnt know to check the hazard fuse which was the problem...boy do i feel like an idiot. Thanks for the help.
