Default 2000 dakota rt

just replaced all the brake lines and brakes

the valve going from master cylinder to rear brake block i thinks its the abs valve and a wire harness comes out of it is so badly rusted
can i go from master cylinder directly directly to rear block which feeds rear center flex hose and just bypass that abs module ( if that's the right name)
if i cant whats that valve worth

keep in mind i would just make it to the spring as the truck is on its last leg (RUST)

That block is also the proportioning valve (I do believe), so, no, you can't just bypass it. Need to replace it if you don't like the look of it.

thanks for the info i confirmed with the parts store the proportioning valve feeds that abs module which feeds the rear lines and the sensor is in the differential so yes i will bypass it only issue the abs light will come on
just had an emission test so so all good for 2 years
i just want to make it to spring so i'm not worried about the abs light

thanks again for the info

Well unless you haul heavy stuff in your bed all the time be ready for your rear brakes to start locking up often.

If its just rusty and the truck is on its last legs I say leave it alone.

OK i bypassed the abs module and all working great no lock ups on the back
how it works is the proportion valve feeds the abs module thanks for all the input
the reason i bypassed the abs module is because the housing was stripped i couldn't get a new bubble flare to snug up
