99 dakota ext cab 4x4,,gauge lights goes on,like gas and ABS..
dakota extened cab 4x4 anybody had this issue? also gauge quit working..shut off the truck that gauge lights goes off and gauges works..with No BUS reading on the odomerder area..

I had this issue on my Ram w/Cummins and it turned out to be the crankshaft speed sensor.
It caused all sorts of electrical gremlins and the dash display. Nothing made sense.
Replaced that sensor and all the electrical gremlins went away.
A bad ground connection can also cause electrical gremlins as well.
