Default Oi pan leaking on new motor

Just put a reman 4.7 in a 2000 Dakota 4x4.Came back in a week with oil pan leaking on the right side.Bolts are tight.
5.5 hours to do it again.Any gasket that works best for this.Fel-pro,dealer,victor? We use the gasket that came with the new motor.Probably some off brand.Thanks.

Out of curiosity, were the bolts torqued down evenly? If they were just tightened down, it could have warped the pan a little.

Never had a problem with felpro. Other thing is they can be over tight causing the the gasket to push out and cause a leak...

Default oil pan

Engine was on motor stand upside down when pan installed. All flanges on pan straight and bolts tightened properly.Pan did not leak on the old motor.Gonna try felpro this time.thanks.
