Couldn't figure out how to get to the front blinker bulb. Thread from 2008 gave the answer...

Tiny little screw from the front between the headlight and blinker housing. It's a very small torx. Unscrew that and the blinker housing slides forward. Still not easy to reach in there, but at least the bulb can come off.
