Default frt brk feedback

I'm new dakota QC 4x4 owner stock with 32"M/T tires. 85000miles.
driving down a 13%grade mountain road today normal speed with normal braking.
brakes faded and overheated badly. smoking!! front brakes are new oem pads, rotors good,.030 over min thick and at the time of brake job calipers visual good.rear adjusted correctly and new fliud in system. about a 1000miles on new brks.was working fine till todays problem. I've read some post commets on caliper concerns, and personal opinions on oem pads. so my question is has anybody had this problem with oversize tires.or caliper problems at what average mileage. I'm going to inpsect tomarrow but would like to get some input on this brake concern. note I notice rotor dia: is a little smaller than average !/2 ton fullsize trucks. does anybody make aftermarket oversize rotors or cross drill my only option? also I am a brake and front end tech 15years exp. love the truck but was dispointed today. hope this insist going to be a ongoing problem. any input appreciated
