Towing

I have a 99 Dakota 3.9 v6 auto can it be towed in neutral, or do the rear wheels need to be off the ground?

Better to tow with the rear wheels off the ground. Or flat bed it. If you must tow with the rear wheels down, remove the driveshaft. You will damage the trans otherwise. Even in neutral.
