2000 Dakota 4.7 auto stalls on deceleration, starts right back up. Only does this after reaching operating temp. Scanner says the MAP sensor has high voltage. Does that mean the PCM is sending to many volts to sensor, if so I checked it and DVM showed 5.15 volts. Would that cause problem?

Meaning the computer has detected a higher than expected voltage. I'd replace the MAP sensor.Originally Posted by fchayman

Replaced map sensor, helped a lot. Now a problem with connector, will have to replace it. Idles rough, not giving any codes other than steering pressure sensor. Scanner, actron cp9580a,says everything else is ok. Don't have a laptop with windows 7, so don't know if that would show anything else.
