Are the Dakota nv3500 all the same? Awhile back I purchased a NV3500 and it came out of a 4wd quad cab 4.7 liter (2003?) Dakota. My intentions are to use it in my 87 with a 5.9 magnum.
Im not worried so much about the back end. I will be using a np231 transfer case.

 

it should mount to the motor. if i am not mistaken. all mopar bell housing for small block is the same. but you might want to look into that a little deeper.

 

thanks for your reply. That is mainly what I wanted to confirm and that is the 4.7 and 5.2-5.9 use the same bell housing.
