Default Alarm will not turn off

Hello,

I bought a 03 dodge dakota 4.7L SLT the truck had issues related to the CTM. I have read extensively about so i replaced the CTM everything was working fine. i knew that the key FOB would not work so i locked the does using the inside auto lock button last night. I went to open the truck with the key and the alarm starting going off. It will not turn off unless you turn on the headlights or disconnect the battery. I have tried several manually solutions to turn the alarm off to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Is the alarm still going off as you drive it?

Is yours a black or gray key?

Makes no sense. Either the chip key reader has been defeated somehow, or your CTM is still upset.

The panic alarm will remain on for three minutes, or until the PANIC button is actuated again or the vehicle speed exceeds 25.7 Km/h (15 mph) will cancel the panic event.

anyone know how to disable the factory alarm??

I have grounded the light green/orange and the alarm still goes off. Really trying to avoid the 125 buck min to go to the dealer.
