Default 2000 dodge dakota SLT 2wd Parking brake

So I am up for inspection and can not find the parking brake tensioner anywhere for this truck. I have searched junk yards, crags list ..you name it. Mopar says part no longer available.
I know this is an issue with many. My truck is a beauty, well maintained and runs great. So..my question is do any of you dakota lovers have any suggestions for an alternative tensioner I can use to adjust the tension? I have a 2000 dakota SLT quad cab 2WD 3.9L 42RE tranny...Any suggestions or help would be appreciated...

I think the ebay part will work as a replacement depending on the cable attachment ends it does the same thing as your old part.
