Overhead console
The compass prob just need spower I assume
The compass yes but the thermometer will need to connect to the PCI bus in the vehicle. You can probably tap it at the OBD port. The temp data comes over the PCI bus via the HVAC controller.
I show 7 wires for the console vs. just 3 for the base lights.
You have power - 12 volts always hot. The outputs are switched to turn the lights on/off. 1 wire each to the courtesy lamp driver and to the interior lamp driver on the CTM.
You need to add: 12 volts switched, panel lights dimmer, a ground, and the PCI bus connection.

Yea, that sounds like greek to me, I appreciate the info though. I assume the wires are not there for a swap out then.

Wires are not there but it's simple as can be to add it. I yanked the harness out of the truck I pulled it from and just cut the wires near the kick panel.
I paid $10 for the console because it was broken, I removed the blank "clip" on my oem console and installed the computer display in my good console the ran the wires. Took no time at all.
Here is the video I watched to walk me through it.
