clunk in front end help

Default clunk in front end help

2002 Q-cab 4WD 4.7 motor. Original owner, 186k miles. I have a clunk in the front end and I am wondering if it could be the torsion bars. About 6 years ago I raised the front end 1 inch by adjusting the torsion bars. This clunk is heard sometimes on slow 90 degree turns like around a corner but most of all when going over a small bump like a rounded curb backing out my driveway. It can also be heard sometimes when put into reverse after sitting parked in a spot in which I pulled in forwards. As an example I parked it in my garage then 30 minutes later while on a flat surface as soon as I put it in reverse and start to back I hear the clunk. It is not the the transmission. Also it appears to be coming from the drivers side and i believe I can sometimes feel it in the floorboard in my feet.

I can't produce the sound by bouncing it up and down while parked.

Any thoughts?

How are the ball joints and control arm bushings?
