Default 02 Dakota Starts But Won't Run?

Saw a posting on c/l for a 2002 Dakota 4x4 with a 4.7 and automatic transmission. Said it only had 130,000 miles on it. Also said it needed a front driveshaft and neutral safety switch. Next sentence says it will start but won't run. I have not talked to the guy yet but just wondered if the NSS could cause this problem. Also, is this switch inside the transmission or does it mount from the outside. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

NSS will cause a no start condition. Without knowing more details, it is impossible to guess at why it wont stay running. Could need a tune up, could be a fuel issue, could be a IAC or TPS issue, any number of things.
