Default 02 4.7 smoking

I got a call from my dad about his Dakota smoking for 15 - 20 seconds only after a hard left turn. He said he hasn't had to add any coolant and just changed the oil a week ago. No smoke under hard acceleration going straight or turning right, I'm stumped.

Valve cover loose on that side sloshing oil on the exhaust?

Or you mean smoke out the tailpipe?

Oil level ok.

Thanks for the replies, I'm sure you guys know it's not easy diagnosing a problem from 500 miles away.
