Rear license plate lights

Default Rear license plate lights

So I have changed the bulbs but still won't work,
would they by chance be connected with the fog lights

No, they should go into the harness going to the taillights as I recall. The body/chassis junctions should be on the back of the rear chassis crossmember (you have to drop the spare tire). Should be one for the left taillight, one for the right taillight, and one for the license plate lamps.

FSM shows hot side is black and yellow, ground side is solid black for both sides' running lights and the license plate lights. If you have running lights on the tails but no license plate lights, the body/chassis connector may have come undone.

Checked connection and is tight and clean still no lights what else could it be

Did you check the connector with a voltmeter or test light to make sure it is getting 12 volts? You need to isolate if the issue is on the chassis side connector or the lamp side.
