Default O2 question .

The wire harness plug for my up stream o2 sensor fell on the exhaust and melted. I'm pretty sure the positive and ground for the heat in the sensor touched. Is there a fuse that blows ? Or would it just fry part of the computer ? I've wired on a new connector, but not getting any power . It's throwing p0131 . Thanks for any help..

are you getting power on the O2 sensor side and just not the heater?

This is all that i could find in a quick scan of the FSM. Looks like upstream is direct powered by Fuse U, while downstream is relayed.

The upstream and downstream have the same power source. See if you have power at the downstream relay's pin 30. If so, then Fuse U should be good, and splice 136 should be receiving power, which means the O2 sockets should have power.

I don't see the ASD relay referenced anywhere, but have you been checking for voltage with engine running? If the O2's are somehow subject to the ASD relay being energized, then there may not be voltage present with engine off.
