Airbag light on
I did do a search on the topic and read a few threads..here's where I am now. My airbag light is on all the time.
Everything else works so I am assuming not a clockspring issue.
The passenger side airbag is off and it is lit up so that's not the issue.
Anything else to check ?? where the connectors for the driver side air bag..should I try to check the plugs???

There are connectors under the dash and inside the steering wheel under. The ABS wiring is yellow.
It can still be a clockspring failure even if the horn sounds.
Get the airbag system scanned for faults. It's the easiest way to fix.

I did some reading on teh airbag system and teh first thing the manual says to check are the fuses for the system..numbers 52and 53 but there is nothing numbered 50 anything or labelled in the fuse box under the hood..is there another one?? where are the fuses for the airbags???

It's a 2002 I looked up under the dash drivers side by the door nada there except a cream colored circuit board with connectors plugged in but no fuses. I didn't see anything that looks like or is labelled fuses..There was a white case top with a bolt in the middle of it..on some kind of box but it sure doesn't look like a fuse box not that I have ever seen before..the bolt in the middle of it holding it together is just not what a fuse box looks like??? Also has tabs on the sides to hold it shut??? It's about 11/2" wide and about 5 or 6's long???I did look at the fuse box under the hood and like i said no numbers in there on the lib or otherwise and nothing labelled airbags

It's not under the dash.
Open the drivers door. It's on the side of the dash, a little cover that matches the color of your interior. When the door is closed you can't see it.

Got it finally thanks..I guess I am slow...it's right there allone has to do is look in the right place.

But of no help the fuses look good. Is there a secret to pulling the air bag fuses they are in a special case/puller thing. I can pull the thing out a bit enough to disconnect the fuse but not so it's totally free. I don't want to pull it too hard and brake it, the yellow case it's in, but I'd like to totally remove the fuses and check them with a meter. I did try squeaking the tabs on it but that didn't seem to help..So squeak harder or just pull harder or both??
