New to Forum:
97 Dakota sport.
3.9 v-6 2 wd 5 speed.
ABS and Brake light come on at any time . No pattern.
I have done 4 wheel brake job. Stops fine.
E brake lights up when used and shuts off.
I can drive on highway no idiot lights.
I can drive to corner idiot lights on.
Is this a speed sensor at differential problem ?
No codes come up.

get the code read and post it here. code reader won't do it...you need a scan tool that can access the chassis system...ABS

 

You'll need to get the ABS system scanned. It won't show up with a regular reader or the key dance trick.

That the ABS light comes on means a code should be stored.

It could be a speed sensor, or an intermittent failure in one of the harnesses.
