Default Programming a key fob for 2001 Dodge Dakota

I had a fire in my home on New Year's Day. All 3 of my key fobs for my truck were damaged in the fire. I had to get new ones. Is there any way I can program the new ones without a working one? I don't have the money to have it programmed at the dealership.
Thank you very much.

Sorry, no. you need one working FOB to program others. Dealer or locksmith. Your insurance should cover the cost if you lost them to a fire in your home.

I think you need two working ones to pgm a third. I only had one and had to buy two on ebay for 17.00 and pay a locksmith, with a gizmo 45.00 to pgm. He used three different gizmos hoping to not have to charge me the 45 but had to resort to a token driven one that worked.
