Default Power Window Locks

I have a 2002 Dakota Sport Crew Cab and the power windows work periodically at each door but always work from the drivers door controller. It's apparent that there is a short in the wires or the push button switch for the window lock on the drivers door controller. Does anyone know what wires from the controller I could cut or splice to bypass the switch and always have the windows un-locked?

It's not a short. The switch is failing and it is very common.

On the switch, Pin 9 on Connector 1, a tan wire you should have 12 volts all the time.
Pin 8 on Connector 2, a yellow wire should be hot when the lockout is off.

Jump the two wires.

Somewhere on the forum is a way to jump out the child proof switch. THAT is causing all the problems. I did it on mine and everything has been fine since.
