Default Replacing my a/c system

2002 Dakota Sport. My isn't working for me never was..clutch won't engage..found the system was way over charged. Reduced it still no go, tried to direct jump the clutch to see if the clutch would engage/click..it did not. So I am buying a new compressor "kit" compressor and clutch unit, dryer can and the orifice filter, new valves and o rings. My question is should I also buy a new condenser unit. Seems like over kill but several of the kit warranties require it but not all. Says something about newer style can't be flushed so shoudl always be replace while older can be flushed..so does the 2002 have the newer or older style condenser??

Note I had an early post on the wiring which didn't look factory so I bypassed it still no go.

Also using Rock auto to order it..Any comments on the manufactures:

FOUR SEASONS $130
GPD $141

Did you have someone look at it?

Are you close to Chandler AZ. Im around the border of Gilbert AZ and Chandler AZ just off the 202. I can look at it if you want I have gauges and a vacuum pump. I have replaced almost every A/C part on my 98 except the compressor pulled it and dump the oil and changed the clutch back in 2010.

So yea I understand A/C well the 2002 are different but the same in many ways.

yes, typically you want to replace the consendor just in case there is metal dust in it.
