Default Please help misfire

  • Just purchased a 2000 dodge Dakota 3.9L has Automatic 42RE tranny. About a week ago check engine light came on and used code scanner to read codes they were P0300 random misfire P0301 cylinder 1 misfire, P0303 cylinder 3 misfire, P0305 cylinder 5 misfire. However the truck runs great! Does not bog down, stutter, anything. You can't even hear the slightest miss. I suspect it would be a bank related issue, but not sure where to start. Truck was serviced regularly by the dodge dealership by previous owner in July 16' had new wires plugs etc. Also has new timing chain gasket cover new oil pressure sensor. And has also been regularly inspected and has passed all inspections. Also check wires for chaffing disconnected wire to ignition coil and put back on it turned the check engine light off???..
  • To add to this, when driving to work it seemed to surge slightly RPM's increased to a little over 2000 and go back down, check engine light came back on, pulled into parking lot at work and put truck in park and sat for a minute and the truck stalled.. ..and now has pending code for large evap leak code is P0455
