4.7 engine swap PCM
Ok I need some help. I recently did a motor swap. I took a 4.7 out of an 2000 grand Cherokee to replace the one in my 03/04 Dakota. Everything seemed to go good till I tried to start it. LOL. Come to find out the ring on the crankshaft and the ring on the camshaft that the position sensors read changed in 01. SO my question is can I put a pcm out of an 99/00 Dakota in my 03 and it run everything else. My goal is to not tare down and start all over. HELP PLEASE

Nope. You're stuck. The computer bus is different in 03/04 than it was in '00, there was no 4.7 in '99 for the Dakota. The PCM's will not be compatible.
The tone rings need to be swapped.
