Remove engine with lift plate?

Default Remove engine with lift plate?
Going to be swapping my engines around from my 97 and my 99 Dakota's. Is the lift plate ok to pull them or should I avoid that?

i wouldn't do the plate to the keg. it's only aluminum. good chance on stretching the bolts that hold it on also.

A lot of people use them but i don't, Especially on aluminum. Use grade 8 bolt into the head as a attaching point.
