ABS Speed Sensors
Hey Guys - new to the forum but I have a question for you: Is it possible to have front ABS speed sensors without having ABS in the front?
I recently bought my truck (98 sport 5.2) and both the ABS and brake light are on constantly, and the speedo doesn't kick on until 20mph or slightly after. I did some reading on here and everything was pointing me to replacing the rear sensor...I had a mechanic checking out the truck though for another issue (EVAP) and he told me his reader was saying it was the front left ABS speed sensor. Fast-forward a few weeks and I have purchased a front ABS speed sensor but when I jacked up the truck took off the wheel and took off the brake caliper I couldn't find it anywhere. Anyways so that's the back story, I also have my build sheet courtesy of FCA, but from everything I see on there I only have ABS in the rear (please correct me if I'm wrong). If it's not possible, did the mechanic just read the code wrong?
Any help would be appreciated!
