shut off problems

Default shut off problems
I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota and the problem I am having is it will not shut off with the key. Does anyone have suggestions on what might be wrong?

Moved to the correct section. And yes. Ignition switch. Replace it.

To be clear, the ignition switch is on the bottom of the steering column. Not the key cylinder!
