Well.....mines a working pickup and everything gets done every three or four years in rustoleum now. The clearcoat died a long time ago. Some great info on youtube on how to do it and how long it lasts. Again this is my beater and work horse.

Well I DID buy the RAM. Got a '14 CPO with 41K. It is not a Dakota in too many ways, but the little woman and I came to an agreement last night. We're keeping the Dakota, keeping the RAM, keeping the Miata, and selling the '11 Outback we had bought new. The RAM makes the Outback redundant and the Dakota really pulls at my heart strings. I'll get the body taken care of with a new paint job and replace the dented tailgate and the CEL issues are proving to be injector related which is not a back breaking fix. This way I can have my cake and eat it too! The Dakota is an extension of me for the last 16 years and I can see it still being there in another 16 years as long as I can live that many more! (at 68 you think differently than at 48!)
